Ingredients

  • 2 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and chilled
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 4 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish

Equipment

  • blender
  • cutting board
  • knife to cube watermelon
  • serving glass

Method

  1. Add the cubed watermelon to a blender—chilling the watermelon helps create a slushier texture.
  2. Pour in the Greek yogurt, which adds body and a creamy tang to the smoothie.
  3. Add the ice cubes, honey (if using), lime juice, and mint leaves.
  4. Blend on high speed until completely smooth, about 30–45 seconds.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if needed.
  6. Pour into a glass and garnish with a mint sprig.
  7. Serve immediately while chilled and refreshing.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use coconut or almond yogurt. Freeze the watermelon cubes beforehand for a thicker texture. Skip the honey if your melon is naturally sweet enough.
